To the People of the Sea features three sail-like bronze forms with stainless-steel rib supports, finished in ocean-blue patina and gold-leaf relief. These are mounted on a robust concrete base engineered by Uniqrete to withstand high coastal wind loads.
At Uniqrete, we specialise in creating polished concrete sculptures and benches that combine artistic design with long-lasting performance. Our work is featured in public parks, civic spaces, and heritage sites across Ireland—crafted to withstand the Irish climate and made to inspire.

Frequently asked questions
What are polished concrete sculptures made of?
Our sculptures are crafted using high-quality concrete mixes, polished for a refined finish. Each piece is sealed for durability and weather resistance, ensuring it holds up in Ireland’s changing climate.
Are your concrete sculptures suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. All our sculptures and benches are built to withstand outdoor conditions year-round. They're resistant to rain, frost, UV exposure, and general wear—ideal for public parks, gardens, and civic areas.
Can sculptures include custom features like lighting or seating?
Absolutely. We can design concrete sculptures that incorporate practical elements such as built-in lighting, seating, or water features. Every piece is fully customisable to suit your space and vision.
Do you work with public councils and artists?
Yes, we collaborate with councils, landscape architects, and independent artists. Whether you’re developing a public art project or revitalising a community space, we’re happy to assist with fabrication and installation.
How long do polished concrete sculptures last?
With proper care and sealing, concrete sculptures can last for decades. They are incredibly robust and require minimal maintenance, making them ideal for public installations.
How do I get a quote for a sculpture or bench project?
You can request a free quote directly through our website or contact us for a consultation. We’ll discuss your vision, provide finish samples, and walk you through the entire process.
